South Gloucestershire Council’s Street Care team are conducting two new public consultations on managing South Gloucestershire’s Waste. Please find below details of each of these consultations, including links to the surveys and the relevant documents.

Consultation 1.

In their latest strategy South Gloucestershire Council propose shifting their focus towards doing their bit to save the planet’s precious resources, primarily by reducing their consumption, especially of single-use items, ensuring our environment is protected for future generations, and reducing the amount of raw materials they are using, in order to minimize the effects of global warming on our environment.

Consultation 2.

South Gloucestershire Council’s waste supplementary planning document (SPD) seeks to clarify and elaborate on details of policies laid out in South Gloucestershire’s Local Plan, offering guidance to developers on how to plan for and ensure space for waste management.
